January 2011 Rating List
FIDE publishes January 2011 FIDE rating List.
Magnus Carlsen (NOR) is #1 in the new list with the rating of 2814. Norwegian player scored 12 rating points in Pearl Spring tournament and London Chess Classic. World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand (IND) has scored 6 rating point in the same tournaments and has the second position with the rating of 2810. Levon Aronian (ARM) is the third with 2805.
Women World Chess Champion Yifan Hou of China tops the Girls List and crosses 2600 rating level.
Magnus Carlsen left Top Juniors list and now Caruana Fabiano (ITA) is #1 in Juniors List. Current #2 in the Juniors list – Anish Giri (NED) who scored 98 rating points in the last year period.
